Why the eleventh hour
“And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?”
Matthew 20:6
The story
In the parable Jesus tells, the workers who showed up at the eleventh hour got paid the same as the ones who were there at sunrise. Not because they earned it. Because the One paying decided that is how it was going to be.
That is grace, and it is the whole reason this shirt exists. Not hustle. Not “you still have time to make something of yourself.” Something far better: the wage does not shrink because you came late. Jesus paid it in full at the cross, and He is not renegotiating.
Wear it for the person who thinks they burned it all down. Wear it because somebody at the gym, the job site, or the school pickup line needs to hear that today and does not know how to ask.
The cornerstone story
He was a criminal. He was guilty, and he said so out loud. He had no time to clean up, no time to make it right, no time to prove anything to anybody. He was nailed to a cross and hours from dead.
All he did was turn his head and ask.

Jesus did not build His table around the people who had it together. He ate with the ones everybody else had written off, and He called it what it was: the sick need a doctor, not the healthy.
You do not get in by catching up. The cross settled it. That is why the T is a cross — take Him out of the sentence and there is no sentence left.
